The incumbent in this position is responsible for answering responding in a timely manner to all incoming calls to Mary’s Center, scheduling appointments, while maintaining records as assigned. The position is designed to ensure standardization of the process for scheduling of patients appointments.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in health care services, including: medical office receptions, or front office receptions. Experience with scheduling medical appointments, some experience of medical terminology, bilingual Spanish/English required, excellent customer service skills, both on the phone and in person. Strong oral communications and listening skills. Must have good knowledge of computers including skill in the areas of medical practice software system, with knowledge of both windows and non-windows based applications. Must be able to work under the pressure of a fast-paced work environment responding to a heavy volume of phone calls and computer usage. May be assigned to complete special projects form time-to-time
