Job Description

Regional Sales Manager, Rapidform 3D Scanning Software

Rapidform is seeking a dynamic technical-sales professional to bring our world-class software to users of 3D scanners and data collection devices in a variety of industries throughout the western US.  

 

The Regional Sales Manager plays a key role in the sales of Rapidform 3D Scanning Software to customers throughout the territory. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proficient at both direct and indirect sales, technically savvy and able to work closely with our resellers and OEM partners in the territory. He or she will excel at prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating Rapidform, and closing sales. Responsibilities include:

Direct sales

  • Achieve revenue goals set for the territory,
  • Manage lead generation to maximize the territory sales pipeline,
  • Qualify prospects,
  • Demonstrate Rapidform via online and onsite meetings throughout the territory,
  • Establish Rapidform as the product of-choice in each opportunity,
  • Coordinate with application engineers in the U.S. and Asia to complete demonstrations and benchmarks,
  • Consistently follow up, manage the sales process, ask for the order and close business,
  • Represent Rapidform at trade shows and conferences,
  • Support general marketing activities, share industry information and customer feedback.
     

Indirect sales

  • Build and maintain OEM relationships and assist their sales personnel and their channel to ensure Rapidform is the product of choice for each partner to sell,
  • Build and maintain Rapidform reseller relationships to ensure Rapidform is the product of choice for each partner to sell,
  • Train resellers on how to demonstrate and sell Rapidform products,
  • Assist resellers to close sales 
                          

Territory Management

  • Identify new VARs for Rapidform products.
  • Coordinate and Participate in marketing and promotional activities to generate interest in the Rapidform products.


Territory:

  • Direct and channel sales in the states of: CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, UT, NV, CO, NM, AZ, MX.
     

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Professional B2B sales experience with a record of consistent achievement of sales goals required,
  • Coaching, consultative and mentoring skills to develop the channel,
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (required),
  • At least 2 years experience in 3D scanning or CAD/CAM software (required),
  • Demonstrable technical proficiency with engineering technology (preferred),
  • An understanding of manufacturing, product development and quality control (preferred),
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (preferred).
  • Spanish language skills (preferred)
