Vice President - Claims for a leading Insurance MNC.

The primary responsibility of this position is to:

• Handle claims and provide technical support to clients and Client Executives.
• Handle day to day operational relationships with insurers, clients, Adjusters, Surveyors etc.,
• Establish and manage claims records.
• Proactively handle all matters in connection with claims including but not limited to queries from clients, Insurers  and Adjusters.
• Manage expectations of the clients with a view to reinforcing and expanding relationships leading to higher client retention and new business opportunities.
• Execute all assignments delegated well within the time-frame.        

Scope of Activities

• Handling all types of claims and technical queries.
• Proactively manage relationships with clients, insurers and adjusters.
• Generate periodical MIS.
• Build claims data and provide relevant information for benchmarking.
• Provide claims experience to clients and CEs at agreed intervals.
• Monitor claims history of large clients.  

Candidates  Profile

• Have  worked in a competitive environment in  Management position.
• Should be a team player.
• Have proven track record of handling complex claims successfully.
• Have handled claims under different lines of business.
• Have good rapport with all stakeholders. 

Academic Background:  

• University Degree plus Associateship from III (or Diploma from CII). If not an Associate then MBA in Insurance.

Work Experience :

• Minimum ten years hands-on experience in the insurance industry.
