Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic Customer Service Representative to help our customers resolve technical issues, make changes to their account, and to consult them on how to get the most of their SoundLine phone system. You will work with companies of all sizes in many different industries across the United States & Candada.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries and provide Tier 1 (simple) technical support to answer questions, provide information, resolve problems, update account settings, setup new services, and assist with tasks around the office.
  • Escalate Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues to senior engineers as needed.
  • Setup new customer accounts and consult customers to determine which features will be most beneficial to their businesses.
  • Assist engineers with preparing equipment for installations and upgrades.
  • Assist engineers with data entry and editing files.
  • Track and follow up with all issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction. 
  • Maintain friendly, positive and professional customer relations.
  • Be awesome to continue building the SoundLine brand. 

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, desktop support experience, or related coursework. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills necessary in Google Docs. 
  • Excellent people skills with ability to handle difficult situations while remaining positive.
  • Extreme attention to detail, with a commitment to follow through and follow-up.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Driver's license required for occasional onsite trips to local customer locations. Vehicles provided.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position. Compensation is between $10-$15 per hour depending on experience.
