Job Description

DCI Group is currently seeking to fill the position of Account Executive in our Client Services division with a strong focus on writing and project management.

General responsibilities include: managing tasks on several client projects concurrently and interacting with internal client services teams on a daily basis with ease, comfort and professionalism.

The Account Executive will be required to:

  • Manage and administer the activities of assigned accounts or industry segments in accordance with DCI policies and client objectives
  • Manage complex issue campaigns, including creation and execution of strategic public affairs plans
  • Develop, research and write materials such as press releases, client proposals, and other written materials that align with client priorities.
  • Communicate effectively and on a frequent basis with colleagues and clients.
  • Develop sound and productive relationships within the firm, with clients, consultants, and other organizations.

 

Qualifications

  • Three to five years experience preferred
  • Experience in managing complex and simultaneous projects
  • High level of attention to detail in all projects
  • Excellent writing and research skills is a must
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to prepare and present complex materials or issues before a wide variety of audiences
  • Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm and ability to cope well under pressure
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of communication styles
  • Willingness to travel domestically (10%)
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization and be viewed as a highly collaborative team player.
  • Must be self-motivated, creative, and highly organized with great interpersonal skills.
