What is SmartRecruiters?
SmartRecruiters is an always free applicant tracking system (ATS) offered by MrTed for small and midsized businesses (SMBs) that makes recruiting easy, affordable and fun. SmartRecruiters is the first SaaS ATS whose features and functions will be defined entirely by the product’s user community; MrTed refers to this as ‘Open SaaS.’ SmartRecruiters has many of the bells-and-whistles of an enterprise ATS, but unlike competing systems, SmartRecruiters is easy to use, community based and free forever. Because SmartRecruiters is web-based, it can be accessed anywhere, anytime, provided users have an Internet connection. How long does it take to set it up?
Two minutes. After filling out an online registration form, the registrant will receive an access code that allows him or her to sign-in and begin using the service. The first user of a company becomes the administrator, with authority to add an unlimited amount of new users from within his or her company.
Should users of SmartRecruiters be concerned about data privacy?
No. Similar to other ATS products on the market, user and job-candidate data belongs to each company, and every company has its own database within the SmartRecruiters application.
