MrTed Expands, Improves SmartRecruiters
New and Enhanced Functions Make Recruiting More Effective for Small Businesses
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – December 28, 2009 – The latest release of SmartRecruiters, the free and easy recruiting software from MrTed Ltd., offers several new features and user-driven enhancements that bring recruiting to a new level of ease and productivity for small businesses.
Unveiled by MrTed a little over ago, SmartRecruiters is 100% free and designed specifically for businesses with up to 2,500 employees. With more than 3,000 small businesses using SmartRecruiters today, the fastest-growing recruiting software in the industry.
The latest version of SmartRecruiters builds on a major update to the service announced earlier this fall. Following is a brief description of the most recent features and user-requested improvements.
EEO Report – A major addition to the reporting capabilities of SmartRecruiters is the new EEO Report, available within the compliance section of the Reports main page.
The EEO Report anonymously gathers ethnicity and gender information on the applicant’s Online Application Form and allows you to view and download the information in report format directly from within your system. The EEO Report also includes the diversity and gender distribution of your applicant pool. The result is that using SmartRecruiters as your recruiting solution now enables you to run comprehensive EEO Reports encompassing your entire recruitment process.
Communication Capabilities Update – In response to user feedback, you’ll find a major update to the Applicant Communication capabilities of your SmartRecruiters system. You can move into the newly designed Communication Page directly from an applicant’s profile, or even from your main Applicant List. Further, not only is the entire Communication Dashboard now much sleeker and user-friendly, but you can now also send a quick email to any of your applicants with only two clicks!
Career Site Configurable Job List – Another significant new feature in SmartRecruiters that comes in response to user feedback is the ability to customize the Job List in your Career Site. You said you want to be able to customize the existing columns on your Career Site’s Job List. We heard you!
SmartRecruiters’ Career Site configurable Job List now lets you display the information about your Jobs that you deem important and that you want your applicants to see!
New Video Component for the Career Site – You now have even more cool ways to customize and trick out your Career Site! The newest SmartRecruiters release features a brand new Video Component you can include on your Career Site. You can now fully embrace a multimedia approach to your recruiting process. With SmartRecruiters, you can now take your Career Site to the next level and include any videos right on the front side of your website.
Service Description Ratings – New improvements to the Service Descriptions component are now live, in advance of the first SmarRecruiters pay-per-use additional Recruitment Services that will go live soon. Right now, you can see what’s new by accessing the Service Descriptions of some of the existing Sourcing options, in the Sourcing Center of your SmartRecruiters system.
It’s in this component that we really encourage you to tap into the full potential of the SmartRecruiters belief in community. Whenever you post a comment or rate a particular service, you are not only doing your fellow SmartRecruiters users a favor. You are also letting us know about the performance and experience you have had with any of the services. Remember, you are the one who ultimately defines which existing services are valuable as they are, which need to be enhanced, and what new services we should integrate.
Mass Applicant Import via .CLS, .XLS, and .HR-XML – Building on the previous SmartRecruiters release and its introduction of the new Mass Applicant Import, this feature is now improved so you can also use .XLS (Excel) and HR-XML files to upload multiple Applicant Profiles in your system.
New Access to Average Applicant Ratings – The Average Rating for each Applicant Profile is now displayed directly in the main Applicant Details page. Now, the Average Rating is always right at your fingertips, with no need to click and search for it.
