Job Description
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant provides secretarial, clerical and administrative support 10-12 hours per week.
Location: Luray, VA
Job Responsibilities
- Type various correspondence
- Receive, direct and relay telephone and fax messages
- Handle mail
- Make travel arrangements
- Schedule appointments
- Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system.
- Track office supply inventory
- Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings
- Use PC and word processing software in performing assigned tasks
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
Knowledge/skills
- Knowledge of basic office administration processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
- Flexible and eager to learn new things
- Able to maintain staff confidentiality
- Working knowledge of email, scheduling, spreadsheets and presentation software
Education/Experience
- Minimum: High School Diploma
- 1 year or more related experience
