Job Description

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant provides secretarial, clerical and administrative support 10-12 hours per week.

 

Location: Luray, VA

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Type various correspondence
  • Receive, direct and relay telephone and fax messages
  • Handle mail
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Schedule appointments
  • Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system.
  • Track office supply inventory
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings
  • Use PC and word processing software in performing assigned tasks
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

Knowledge/skills

 

  • Knowledge of basic office administration processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Flexible and eager to learn new things
  • Able to maintain staff confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of email, scheduling, spreadsheets and presentation software


 

Education/Experience

  • Minimum: High School Diploma
  • 1 year or more related experience
