MUST HAVE: Accounting experience to qualify for this role.
MUST HAVE – 1 full ERP (financials system) implementation as part of the technical team.
MUST HAVE hands on experience implementing upgrades and patches for ERP systems.
The Senior Business Analyst is a new role that is focused on optimizing the functionality of our SIT PPlus and other reporting systems to provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information to the business.
The candidate will work closely with the Finance & Accounting and Business Analysis teams, as well as other departments, to provide product support, roll out upgrades & enhancements, and structure & document system processes.
This individual will provide the bridge between financial and technical groups and execute project plans to enhance our financial reporting systems.
•MUST HAVE – 1 full ERP (financials system) implementation as part of the technical team.
•MUST HAVE - hands on experience implementing upgrades and patches for ERP systems.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Finance & Accounting, Business Analysis and IT teams.
•Minimum 5 years working with SIT PPlus or similar financial reporting system with relevant experience performing system enhancements, upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and system implementations.
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration.
•Strong understanding of Accounting & Financial reporting concepts, preferably completed/working towards the CGA/CMA designation.
•Proactive self-starter who is eager to learn and can work independently.
•Experience in re-structuring processes to enhance efficiency & controls.
•Proficient user of all MS desktop tools.
•Detail oriented and an analytical mindset.
•Experience using databases (i.e. SQL or TOAD) is an asset.
•Familiarity with banking operations and term deposit & mortgage products will be a definite asset.
