Job Description

The Corporate Manager, Marketing and Communications, is responsible for conceptualizing, developing and implementing programs that build brand and product awareness, market share and brand preference through all distribution channels in the region. This role will serve as the communication champion and ensure that brand and product goals are met and brand standards are developed and adhered to across all customer touch points. In doing so, manager will align and integrate efforts for one consistent voice and message into the market throughout LATAM and Caribbean region.

The manager will provide strong strategic management and execution across a variety of functions, both internal and external. This position contributes directly to the financial success of the company.

This position reports directly to the Corporate VP of Marketing and Sales.

Duties:

  • Manage the regional marketing communications function – including communications calendar, brand, PR plan, and content development
  • Develop defined Marketing and communications priorities, in consultation with country Marketing and communications heads
  • Work with country product management teams to integrate the product roadmap into a communications calendar and translate the new product value in terms of the overall company’s position within the market
  • Develop presentations, collateral, positioning documents and sales tools to support both internal and external channels
  • Create a style guide and manage company’s brand image and consistency
  • Translate complex technical solutions in to easy to comprehend marketing messages
  • Administer the company’s Website including overall positioning, content and messaging.
  • Responsible for managing partner portals – coordinating with the channel program team on content and tool needs
  • Work with industry analysts and communications firms firm to build brand presence and recognition

Qualifications

Requirements:

 

  • Tertiary level qualifications in Management, Communications, Marketing or related discipline
  • 7-10 years of experience in a senior marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Proven ability to drive cross-group collaborative efforts on multiple projects, developing scalable and effective marketing plans, executing tactics and driving key issues to closure. 
  • The following will be considered additional assets:
  • A writing background
  • Experience with managing a website, utilizing a CMS, as well as managing the site performance against standard Web metrics
  • Experience with e-marketing campaigns (Webinars, e-mail, banner ads, search (owned and paid), Web 2.0 tools)
  • Experience with branding, co-branding and managing a brand delivered via indirect distribution.
  • Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)
