Job Description


Participates in preparation of Tax Provision in accordance with FASB 109.

Prepares claims for tax refunds.

Maintains tax records.

Conducts or participates in tax research.

Prepares statistical and financial reports.

Implements approved tax strategies.

Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

 High School Diploma or GED. -

Bachelor's degree plus 2 years experience in accounting with increasing levels of responsibility.

MS Excel experience.


Bachelor's degree in accounting plus 5 years experience in accounting, public accounting, or general corporate tax with increasing levels of responsibility.

 Masters Degree - Tax. - CPA. - Big 4 Accounting experience.

OneSource Income Tax Software. - OneSource (Tax Stream) Provision Software.

JD Edwards General Ledger System.

RIA/CCH Online Research Software.

Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Computer skills requirements include: basic MS Word; intermediate MS Excel.

Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Skilled in applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Skilled in performing work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, usually involving limited responsibility, requiring frequent evaluation, originality and/or ingenuity.

Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this field of specialization.
