Job Description

Our Client develops the next generation of integrated technology solutions that brings data analytics, workflow, document management and process management into a seamless platform to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing business environment.  The Sr. Business Analyst will be part of global development and support teams.  The BA will be responsible for supporting the requirements, development and testing phases of project implementations.

* Required: 5+ years in a dedicated BA role within an IT department, SDLC, MS Office, Visio
* Required: Healthcare/Insurance industry experience

* Only candidates local to the Warrenville, IL area will be considered.

Responsibilities:
•    Developing and recommending service and process improvements
•    Developing/overseeing change management processes
•    Handling incidents relating to release management
•    Building and maintaining internal and external relationships and services
•    Ensure that all systems and processes in place ensure effective service delivery
•    Reporting on process improvements, team performance and agreed service levels
•    Building a personal relationship with key client staff
•    Good communication around issues and opportunities – getting things done, and making things happen
•    Ensuring operations teams are aware of changes and are prepared
•    Service reporting and sponsoring service delivery meetings
•    Communicating across organizational boundaries – from engineers to senior managers
•    Looking out for our Client’s and their end-clients’ long-term interests
•    Following up if service delivery is not meeting expectations
•    Working with end-clients and operations teams to identify and manage service improvement activities. 
•    Monitors and reports on service delivery metrics and overall performance.
•    Coordinates planned changes with customer service, change management and operations.
•    Maintains relationships with technical teams, IT, and business partners. Communicates on major service outages/escalations.
•    Manages service delivery teams and individual objectives, performance and development. 
  
Qualifications/Requirements:
•    Attention to detail, thoroughness, and worked in an IT BA capacity during their career
•    Execute and lead requirements gathering sessions with business unit and development teams.
•    Address questions, attend meetings and perform as the subject matter expert on assigned projects and business unit line of business
•    Participate in development inquiries and testing based on requirements for assigned project.
•    Handle multiple project requirements and supporting documentation at one time.
•    Thoroughly versed on all SDLC and change control requirements.
•    Participate in development meetings, address status of the project to sponsors, executive management and support development team
•    Address reported issues during a support or testing environment by troubleshooting issues and providing solution for resolution.
•    Review projects to enable efficiencies and quality data inputs/outputs
•    Responsible for vendor management as needed for assigned projects
•    Ability to work on their own, problem solving, critical thinking skills and excellent customer facing and client relationship skills.
•    Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
•    Highly motivated self-starter, team player, able to work proactively and under pressure
•    Must aspire to a culture of service excellence, always putting the customer, our people and our business at the center of everything they do.
•    Tool proficiency required with MS Office and Visio.  SQL skills a big plus.
•    Healthcare experience required
