Job Description

AAFCPAs Wealth Management is a boutique, fee-only Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm headquartered in Wellesley, MA and an affiliate of AAFCPAs.

We seek an experienced and passionate Investment Advisor and Financial Planner to join our leadership team and contribute to our growth.  This polished individual exudes confidence in his/her abilities and is
motivated by the ideal of exceptional service to high net worth individuals, estates, foundations and retirement plan clients. He/she will partner with the firm’s CPA assurance and tax teams to leverage full-service opportunities, engage new firm clients, as well as lead relationships on behalf of the firm with
existing clients. He/she strives to be part of a team determined to grow through innovative, client-centered solutions and a holistic approach, which includes: estate, tax, retirement and cash flow planning. He/she believes that honest investment advice must be selfless, thoughtfully prepared and fully-customized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with AAFCPAs Wealth Management’s internal network of partners, managers, and staff to identify new client opportunities in the area of wealth management, leveraging existing
    relationships and a comprehensive approach to financial planning.

  • Develop effective relationships with prospects, external community resources, referral sources
    and ambassadors of the firm.

  • Develop, nurture,and grow long-term client relationships by delivering immediate and future
    wealth advisory services with impeccable service.

  • Deliver financial planning and investment advice for diverse client base. Utilize and leverage the resources and service offerings of the firm to enhance the client’s experience.

  • Contribute to successful oversight of AAFCPAs Wealth Management operations.

  • Effectively communicate AAFCPAs Wealth Management value proposition to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • A full commitment to independent (fee only) client-centric advice delivered with the highest
    level of ethics and honesty.
  • 5-7 years of proven success earning trust advising high net worth individuals and retirement
    plan clients.

  • BS/BA in business,finance, or related field (MBA and/or CPA a plus).

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) preferred. Or,
    Series 6 & 63 (or 66) licensed and working toward CFP.

  • Insurance license a plus.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Proven effectiveness in business-to-business
    and business-to-consumer communications with a clear, concise and persuasive
    manner.

  • Exceptional relationship management skills.

  • Ability to earn trust quickly and maintain it consistently over time with high levels of
    confidence regardless of the cycle of the financial market.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, work under tight deadlines and utilize
    technology resources and solutions, e-money a plus.

  • Thorough understanding and genuine interest in staying on the cutting edge of thought
    with business, finance, investing, and the financial markets.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Passionate about excellence, technology, growth, innovation, and continuous learning.

  • Genuinely embrace and value a team environment. Demonstrates resourcefulness in leveraging
    resources.
