Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, compliance, and reliability of electrical systems across various projects in the region.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations and equipment to verify compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, with a focus on Saudi Arabian standards
- Review electrical plans, specifications, and blueprints for new installations or system upgrades to ensure they meet safety requirements and industry standards
- Identify and document electrical code violations, providing clear and concise reports on necessary corrective actions
- Perform routine inspections to assess the condition and integrity of existing electrical systems and equipment
- Utilize specialized testing equipment to measure the performance and safety of electrical systems
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address electrical safety concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Stay up-to-date with evolving electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices in Saudi Arabia and internationally
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, findings, and recommendations
- Provide guidance and expertise on electrical safety matters to clients, colleagues, and other professionals in the field
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical inspections or related electrical work
- Certification as a licensed Electrical Inspector (if required in Saudi Arabia)
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes, with a strong focus on Saudi Arabian electrical standards and regulations
- Proven experience in conducting electrical inspections, plan reviews, and performance testing
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Expertise in using specialized electrical testing equipment and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and best practices in electrical installations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel within the Riyadh region as needed for on-site inspections
- Familiarity with computer-based reporting systems and basic software applications
- Knowledge of English and Arabic languages is highly desirable
