Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Engineer (PHE) with over 10 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing public health engineering systems for Annex Building projects within Airport Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing, drainage, water supply, and fire protection systems, with a strong focus on airport-specific requirements and sustainability. This role demands technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver innovative and efficient public health solutions in complex airport environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health systems for annex buildings, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
- Ensure integration of public health systems with airport-wide infrastructure, including terminals, airside, and landside operations.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations, system analysis, and feasibility studies for public health designs.
- Manage and maintain airport-specific public health systems, including potable water supply, sewage treatment, and stormwater drainage.
- Design and implement fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, hydrants, and water storage tanks, in compliance with airport safety standards.
- Support the integration of advanced technologies, such as water recycling systems and smart plumbing solutions, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee public health engineering aspects of annex building projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure public health requirements are met.
- Manage procurement processes for public health equipment and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications.
- Supervise the installation of public health systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct rigorous testing and commissioning of public health systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with aviation standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after system deployment.
- Ensure all public health systems comply with local and international codes, such as ICAO, FAA, and local building regulations.
- Monitor system performance and generate reports on efficiency, water usage, and areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support and training to airport staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Public Health Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Public Health Engineer, with a focus on annex building projects within airports.
- Strong knowledge of public health systems, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and hydraulic modeling tools.
- Familiarity with sustainable water management practices and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

- Demonstrated experience in large-scale airport projects, including terminal buildings, annex facilities, and airside infrastructure.
