Due to significant contract awards within our ANZ Water business, we are expanding our Water Infrastructure Team in Southeast Queensland (SEQ), these awards bring a secure 10-year pipeline of work.

The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, and defence sectors, with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve.

By joining our team, you will have access to mentoring and guidance from our industry leading experts. You will also have the opportunity to work and collaborate with interstate and international offices.

How you’ll make a difference 

• Contribute to the design and documentation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pump stations, pipelines, tanks, and treatment plants, while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

• Assist senior engineers with structural analysis and design of concrete and steel structures in accordance with Australian Standards, benefiting from technical supervision and guidance.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated design outcomes, participating in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering activities to enhance your skills.

• Utilise industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam and ACC to prepare and review design mark-ups, calculations, and technical documentation, while also supporting site inspections during construction.

The qualities that help you thrive

• Tertiary qualification in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Experience in structural engineering design, preferably within water infrastructure, municipal infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
• Working knowledge of Australian structural design standards and experience using structural analysis software such as SpaceGass and/or Strand7.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
