Job Description

The role is part of the Source to Pay Team in Manila. The role is responsible for handling medium to complex Subcontract activities and provide Procurement support to AECOM Project team, and supplier relationship and performance management while driving compliance and delivering strategic value.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

  • Follow and enforce procurement related policies and procedures.
  • Develop understanding of subcontracting terminology.
  • Management of subcontracted professional, construction, and general services.
  • Processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes or for general internal use.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and develop risk mitigation strategy.
  • Manage supplier performance against scope of work.
  • Responsible for the acquisition of all parts, equipment, services and supplies according to company standards and specifications at competitive prices.
  • Foster relationships internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers and other groups.
  • Present the subcontracting and procurement process to stakeholders in an effective manner.
  • Assist the business when projects depart from basic procurement principles.
  • Communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, solve problems, and make efficient and effective supply management decisions.
  • Perform subcontracting and procurement functions.
  • Develop understanding of procurement systems and tools.
  • Assist with preparation and solicit Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for all services and goods.
  • Prepare and executes Purchase Orders and Subcontracts.
  • Negotiate deviations from company terms and conditions and minimum insurance requirements.
  • Maintain subcontract and procurement documentation.
  • Contact subcontractors for timely submittal of proposals and clarifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and +3 years of related experience in engineering, procurement, and/or construction environments in a multi-location project-based industry.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in engineering, procurement, and construction within a multi-location, project-based industry
  • Deep understanding of commercial and contracting terms, measures, concepts, principles, and strategies
  • Familiarity with Certificates of Insurance and various policy types and limits
  • Ability to understand subcontracting and procurement terminology
  • Experience in managing tactical and strategic supplier relationships. · Intermediate computer skills and ability to use procurement systems, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint
