Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Chief QA/QC Expert to support one of India’s landmark bridge infrastructure projects. The role will lead all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities to ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and international best practice standards.

  • Minimum 15 years of total professional experience in highways and/or major bridge projects.

  • At least two major bridge projects (extra-dosed, cable-stayed, or suspension bridges) in the role of:

    • Quality Expert / QA-QC Engineer

    • Materials Engineer / Materials Expert

    • Geotechnical or Quality Specialist within construction or construction supervision.

  • Proven experience in construction or construction supervision of large, complex bridge projects.

  • Preferably, experience in a similar role on at least one International Competitive Bidding (ICB) project under construction supervision.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University and M Tech in Material Engineering

Additional Information

  • Strong knowledge of international standards (ASTM, BS, EN, IRC, IS) for materials and bridge construction.

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing QA/QC teams on large infrastructure projects.

  • Excellent reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

  • High standards of professional ethics, safety, and quality culture.
