Job Description

AECOM Tishman has an exciting opportunity in our New York Headquarters for a Construction Project Controls/Cost Manager to work on our exciting technology construction projects:

Duties: 

  • Manages project controls as well as defined cost/financial elements for large projects
  • Orchestrates coordination efforts across multiple projects ensuring strict alignment with overall program objectives.
  • Conducts thorough monitoring and evaluation of risk mitigation strategies to ensure their efficacy and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborates strategically with project managers to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.
  • Delivers regular updates to senior leadership on program progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tracking of Project Financials, including Base Contract Values, Prime Contractor Change Orders, Subcontractor Change Orders, Allowances, Pending Items, Time & Material Tickets, tracking master project cash flow projects, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS Finance, Business, Construction Management and 4 years of relevant construction project controls experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Experience in construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree in Finance, Business or related curriculum.
  • Experience in Project Controls or Project Cost Management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with construction documentation such as proposals, change orders, invoicing, time keeping, etc.
  • Procore documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction.
