Job Description
We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangkok, Thailand. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in designing, analyzing, and overseeing structural systems for a variety of infrastructure projects. You'll work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and project teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet both technical requirements and client expectations. - Perform structural analysis and design calculations for buildings and transportation structures using industry-standard software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or RAM Structural
- Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools
- Conduct site visits to observe construction activities, identify potential issues, and provide technical guidance to resolve field questions
- Coordinate design and construction matters between design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Gather and correlate engineering data using established procedures and analyze results for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare technical reports and construction administration documentation that clearly communicate findings and recommendations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and local regulations specific to Thailand
- Manage assigned projects within agreed-upon budgets and schedules with minimal supervision
- Identify discrepancies in structural designs and propose effective solutions using both standard methods and innovative approaches
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural solutions with architectural and MEP systems
Qualifications
**Minimum Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in structural design of buildings and/or transportation structures
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (ETABS or SAP2000)
- Competency in Revit and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of building codes and structural design principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environments
- Open to commit to a 2 years fixed term employment contract
