Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining the timeline for this project, considering technical teamwork in process limits and coordinating with Business Units for appropriate prioritization/sequencing of necessary work to accomplish software rollout. Further, this individual will work to identify project risks and resolve them before they become issues. The Worker will be responsible for facilitating the collection of costs and cost tracking associate with staff and vendors to meet constraints.

The workers responsibilities and skills must include:

  • Experience with general IT SDLC processes.
  • Ability to create and maintain several project artifacts including Project Timeline, Risk & Issue Log, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Being a creative thinker to solve issues.
  • Mediating business units that may have conflicting requirements.
  • Facilitating and documenting AS-IS and TO-BE process flows

  • 8 years+ Independently performs a variety of complicated tasks with the expectation to ideate on creative ways to resolve with a team in a collaborative, high communication environment
  • 8 years+ Experience in creating and maintaining various project artifacts including Project Timeline, Risk & Issue Log, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register, etc.
  • 8 years+ Coordinating and managing multiple projects of all sizes on the order of months to years. Familiar with project management principles and practices through all traditional phases as denoted by PMI.
  • 8 years+ Experience with general IT SDLC processes.
  • 5 years+ Experience implementing Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Kanban
  • 3 years+ Experience with working in hybrid environments where Waterfall and Agile methodologies may exist in a larger program with dependencies between
  • 3 years+ Experience working with Project Management Office process improvement initiatives for establishing frameworks, procedures, processes, templates, and forms for project management activities at each stage within a project lifecycle
  • 3 years+ Experience with Testing, test procedures, test artifacts, test planning, including variants of test methodologies. 

Preferred:

  • 8 years+ Experience implementing Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Kanban
  • 5 years+ Experience working with State or Federal government in primarily outsourced delivery models
  • 3 years+ Business Process analysis and improvement via efficient restructuring and automation.
  • 3 years+ Working with Performance Monitoring software and implementations
  • 3 years+ Experience with Automated Testing

Additional Information

  • This is an onsite position with option for ad hoc remote work. 
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in US and must be able to pass a security background check.
