Job Description

  • Create clear, accurate, and compelling copy for various sales and marketing collateral, including website, landing pages, data sheets, email templates, contributed articles, case studies, white papers, etc.
  • Develop and manage lead generation campaigns: Set up and maintain company and product profiles on various user review sites. Survey users and foster good relationships to acquire positive product reviews.
  • Update/maintain website using HTML and manage offsite developers for more complex changes/updates.
  • Design product data sheets and other sales collateral using MS Word and Publisher.
  • Create product demo videos, including script writing, storyboard development, and video editing. Manage external video production company for more complex, polished marketing videos.
  • Assist Director of Partner Relations with partner marketing projects as needed, including partner marketing collateral and partner communications.
  • Manage public relations efforts, including brainstorming news items, writing and issuing press releases, working with technology partners and customers on joint press releases, and responding to incoming media inquiries.
  • Maintain corporate social media profiles and regularly post all company news, awards, new user reviews, etc.

Qualifications

  • Intelligence, creativity, familiarity with web-based/cloud software 
  • Ability to transform complex technical information into clear, compelling marketing copy with a focus on business value
  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage projects across multiple departments, including product implementers, technical writers, off-site developers, and management
  • Experience with MS Office, Publisher, and basic HTML. Experience with SharePoint, SurveyMonkey, and Camtasia (or other video editing software) a plus.
  • A good eye for page layout and graphic design
  • Perseverance to drive projects to completion even when faced with unforeseen challenges and shifting targets
  • Experience with marketing campaigns, video creation and editing, and user surveys a plus
