lead and coordinate internal and external test engineers working on railway control software, ensuring strong collaboration and high-quality results
design and implement effective test strategies with a focus on efficient software verification, validation, and automation
collaborate closely with software development teams and assessors to ensure compliance, integration, and smooth project execution
define clear objectives, develop project plans, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet timelines and deliverables
manage team capacity, skills, and workload to ensure timely delivery while driving continuous improvement in testing quality
ensure all test documentation and deliverables comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
take the lead in implementing test automation and continuously seek out new tools and technologies to optimize testing processes
are open to occasional travel to other company locations (mainly in Germany and the Czech Republic) to support collaboration and project activities
Qualifications
YOU...
hold a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, railway engineering, or a similar technical field
bring several years of experience in test management, ideally in safety-critical software environments
have a strong background in software testing with practical experience and a passion for automation
are familiar with agile methodologies and have hands-on experience with requirements definition and management tools
have worked on test execution both in lab environments and under real-life conditions, such as on vehicles
understand the challenges and best practices in developing and testing safety-critical systems
demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams, provide constructive feedback, and encourage cross-functional collaboration
communicate fluently in English and have a good command of the German language
Salary starting at € 4.000 gross per month based on 38.5 h/week with the express willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
