Job Description

We have an awesome team of engineers who build world-class Web applications for AOL Mail across all screens (desktop, tablet and mobile). We are looking for engineers with a passion for coding and building great products from the ground up.  Successful candidates have end-to-end web architecture and development experience with proven work history on highly scalable, consumer-facing web applications.

Responsibilities:
    • Create compelling Web experiences for AOL Mail
    • Distill product requirements into design and technical specifications.
    • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability of the application
    • Work independently and effectively in a cross-functional, diverse environment
    • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior programmers

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field, with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Google Closure, Dojo, jQuery etc.)
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and implement unfamiliar technologies
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
