Job Description
Our educational content development company is looking for talented writers with a strong background in math instruction to join ongoing math publishing projects, including a project writing and revising math workbooks for grades 3-8 aligned to Texas STAAR and creating formative and summative assessments, both student facing and teacher facing.
The ideal candidate will
- have a degree in an area of mathematics
- have math classroom teaching experience
- have assessment and/or lesson plan writing experience
- have experience with Depth of Knowledge, Common Core, and Bloom's Taxonomy
- be available to telecommute on a freelance basis
All work is completed virtually using the Google Drive platform and other content management systems. Please respond with a current resume and two or three professional references. You will be asked to complete a writing sample that will be reviewed by a content area director.
