 The Videographer/Editor is expected to work onsite using our Camera, Lighting Kit, Microphones, and MacPro running Premier Pro as an editing and post-production platform.

Duties include – Shooting Products, Voiceover Recording & Editing, Animated Software Screen Captures, simple but seamless Motion Graphics & Compositing including highlights, glows, overlays, zooms, pans, and callouts to illustrate product hardware connections, UI operation and web interfaces, and dedicated software, and Editing.

This position will report to and take direction from the training video producer and will work with Cinema Technical Support personnel as talent. An easy going, flexible, and patient attitude is essential as production revolves around product releases and fluid colleague availability.

This position requires between 2-4 days/week as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Video Shooting

· Create shot list

· Set-up production equipment to record training content (camera, lights, backdrops)

· Light the set and adjust lighting (and camera) throughout the shoot to maintain visual continuity

· Operate camera and record content

· Maintain equipment and ensure proper operation between shoots

Voiceover Recording & Editing

· Set-up microphones for recording audio

· Record voice-over content, ensuring correct levels and continuity

Animated Software Screenshot Captures

· Capture software demonstrations via Camtasia

Editing

· Transfer content to editing system, keep raw footage organized and maintain naming scheme for archiving

· Edit content

· Motion graphics & compositing: highlights, glows, overlays, zooms, pans, and callouts

· Render edited content to correct format to post on internal and customer-facing instructional video sites

Other

· Create graphics/images for use on video hosting sites (ex. product thumbnails)

· Current product lines support digital cinema, but may expand to include additional technologies. This would require updating the existing opening and closing bumper with appropriate image.

Proficient in video lighting techniques
Advanced user of professional video camera equipment
Proficient in audio recording techniques
Basic knowledge and aptitude for digital technologies a plus
