    Job Description

    A Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Associate will work in the 24/7/365 GSOC and is responsible for monitoring global events, travel related issues, and various security topics which could potentially impact the business. This person will send notifications to appropriate personnel and/or company travelers in order to ensure minimal business disruption in accordance with corporate crisis management directives. This person will operate a global CCTV network, provide access control, process store operations requests, and perform intake specialist functions for all initial and follow-up confidential reporting. This person will also provide communication and documentation support for the corporate campus security team and help maintain a safe environment for all company associates, vendors and guests. 

     Responsibilities: 

    • Act as initial point of contact to provide assistance to all Abercrombie and Fitch associates, travelers, expatriates, and others contacting the Global Security Operations Center

    • Perform security and emergency dispatch functions for the corporate campus 

    • Monitor global events in real time using various sources and send detailed information to travelers or business partners as needed 

    • Manage and coordinate response to incoming access control alarms 

    • Play a key role in the collection of intelligence on social media threats made against Abercrombie and Fitch associates and facilities 

    • Receive confidential ethics hotline calls and complete detailed initial and follow-up reports 

    • Provide help desk support for all CCTV issues 

    • Assist with routine physical security measures and work orders 

    • Support the corporate campus security team by logging daily activities and generating incident reports 

    • Complete projects and assessments as assigned 

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelors degree and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience or: Associates degree and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience 

    • Previous experience working in a Global Security Operations Center environment 

    • Law enforcement, military, emergency management experience desired 

    • Strong technical competence with command center software, particularly video management, access control and incident reporting. 

    • Experience with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of CCTV systems 

    • Possess an understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse work environment of Abercrombie and Fitch 

    • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned 

    • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills 

    • Ability to complete tasks within a specific time frame 

    • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment and manage competing priorities 

    • Possess a positive attitude and the ability to adapt in an evolving environment

    • Must be highly motivated and have a sense of task ownership 

    • Strong attention to detail and organization.
