JOB TITLE HOTEL MANAGER – ASYLUM HOTEL
REPORT TO: GROUP OPERATIONS MANAGER
Purpose of the role
A Hotel Manager facilitates and manages the hotel in accordance with the exclusive contract as agreed with the Government.
The aim is to help the hotel function effectively on a day-to-day basis, and to provide a safe, efficient and comfortable working environment for staff.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Housekeeping team to ensure supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
- Ensure due diligence is managed i.e. Fire alarms and evacuation drills take place for employees of Fairview Hotels only.
- Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times [Fairview Employees only as the contracted company are responsible for asylums].
- Ensure food and beverages are made available for Fairview staff whilst they are on shift.
Requirements and skills
- A good communicator
- Being knowledgeable on a wide range of areas related to the role
- Being responsible, efficient, discreet, and organised
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a House Manager
- H&S Flow modules are up to date.
