PRINCIPLE PURPOSE OF JOB:

To answer phone calls effectively, energetically, courteously and cordially greet visitors projecting a positive company image.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Answer and appropriately direct phone calls resulting in maximum caller satisfaction
  • Communicate phone messages to office staff resulting in minimum response time
  • Provide walk-in applicants with appropriate applications, provide assistance with proper instructions for completing the forms,  make copies of required credentials to assure complete initial new applicant package; and maintain database of applicants to assure current and accurate information
  • Create and audit personnel files for new external Caregivers resulting in files that conforms with the personnel file template
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Required knowledge of:

Some knowledge of healthcare terminology (a plus)

 

  • Required Skills:

Excellent customer service skills, basic office technology and computer skills, multi-line phone system, MS Office with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook

 

  • Required Abilities:

Excellent telephone manner; provide outstanding customer service; excellent communication skills with the ability to verbalize instructions clearly and concisely, ability to multi-task; understand and demonstrate the Accord Values:  Accountability, Passion, Integrity, Excellence, and Teamwork; Demonstrated ability working with a diverse population; ability to successfully pass a background and drug screen

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Education

High School Diploma/GED; some college courses preferred

  • Work Experience

1-2 years general administrative office experience preferred
