Who We’re Looking For:
 A EPC Test Engineer to join our growing team in Redmond, WA.
What You’ll Do:
  • Independently execute TOL TCs, collect traces and have discussion with design team on TOL results and next steps
  • Troubleshoot network issues and analyze call flows using JDSU, Iris View, Wireshark, NetScout, Access7, Tektronix G10.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans
  • Interact with equipment vendors, internal design engineers, and operations groups to identify product issues and improvements to ensure that client's service and operational requirements are satisfied

The Skills and Background You’ll Bring:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Good call flow knowledge of LTE and UMTS networks and EPC
  • Ability to work in a Lab test environment to execute TOL TCs, collect Wireshark traces and analyze traces to determine if test case passed/failed or identify exception scenario
  • Good working knowledge of IP networking
  • Proficient in Linux, Excel (formulas, macros), power point and HP Quality Center / ALM
  • Knowledge of virtualization is desirable
  • MME and SGSN engineering experience with knowledge and understanding of packet core network call flows and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying nodes, provisioning and managing mobility HW and SW
  • Knowledge of LTE network interoperability with 3G network.
  • Knowledge of LTE and 3G network protocols and procedures.
  • Understand the function and purpose of the following network components: MME, SGSN, SGW, PGW, PCRF, PCEF, RNC, eNB, Nb.
  • Verse in both LTE and 3G network architectures as well as their interfaces and protocol stack (S1, S5/S8, S11, Iub, IuPS, etc.).
