Job Description

AdReady is currently seeking an energetic and professional Software Development Engineer II to join our team. As part of our technology team, you will own major portions of our industry-leading technology, with development responsibilities across the product, from user experience through detailed data design and implementation.

Core Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Work with a cross-functional team in an agile software development environment
  • Deliver high-quality software on a frequent basis
  • Interact with project stakeholders to develop and refine requirements
  • Collaborate with other software professionals to design and implement software applications
  • Reverse engineer and re-factor existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Help foster dynamic teamwork while communicating fluidly between
    team and individual initiatives

Qualifications

Requirements:

 

  • 1-4 years experience as a full stack developer
  • BS in CS, Information Technology or other scientific/linguistic fields or equivalent development experience
  • Experience with both strongly typed (C++, C#, Java, Objective C) and dynamic languages (Ruby, Python, Perl, JavaScript, ActionScript, PHP)
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and application domains
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to develop simple, elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with talented professionals
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing scenarios
  • Excellent technical communication skills
  • Creative, positive outlook in facing hard problems and short time frames

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails or other web development platform
  • Experience with HTML, jQuery and CSS
