Job Description

We have a fulltime opening for a motivated and experienced advertising sales professional. In this position you’ll be selling our portfolio of media and marketing advertising solutions to key decision makers in healthcare by using a consultative sales approach. The ideal candidate will be a proven top tier performer who has healthcare sales experience and who consistently exceeds quota. We offer you a solid base salary, great training, and support from our in house marketing group! Plus your sales success is rewarded with uncapped commissions paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell solution-based digital and print media products for the ADVANCE brand to increase sales to existing book of clients and to establish new business within a sales territory.
  • Sell multiple platform sales campaigns that may include digital, print, social, eblasts, event sponsorships, custom products, and more.
  • Effectively overcome objections and close business to meet/exceed your sales revenue objectives.
  • Maintain CRM records.
  • Some travel required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years proven sales success.
  • Healthcare sales experience needed
  • Related media/advertising sales and digital media sales experience needed.
  • Inside sales background preferred.
  • Success in this role will call for a hunter mentality, a quick learner, independent mindset, and be high energy and persuasive - day in, day out (constant sense of urgency).
  • Experience and desire to manage the entire sales process which includes prospecting, needs analysis, closing, and further maintaining relationships for renewal or up-sell; drive to acquire new business will be key.
  • Background in using a consultative sales approach.
  • Experience with key marketing stakeholders within a client or with their ad agency is needed.


Qualifications

Skills:

  • A student of the latest digital advertising methodologies and solutions in B2B marketing.
  • Goal-oriented sales approach; be able to provide a proven track record of meeting quarterly and annual goals.
  • Be able to consult with and close business with multiple decision makers.
  • Strong presentation, closing, and prospecting skills.
  • Proficiency using a modern CRM platform is required.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Knowledge of the national media market with the ability to respond effectively to market direction, new product offerings, client needs, and competition is needed.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal partners effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Education:


    Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
