Applicants must reside within the San Diego metro area and will be working out of our San Diego office. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional work offsite.

Job Description

Cloud Specialist is a technical and coordination position. You will execute cloud migration projects via remote access for customers. You will perform Office 365 migrations from Exchange, SharePoint, Google Apps, Lotus Notes and other collaboration systems. The Cloud Specialist coordinates team activities related to migrating customers to the cloud, delegating and coordinating resources while providing excellent customer service during their transition. This includes being a point of escalation within the cloud services department and working with various technologies. This is a customer-facing role and therefore it requires strong inter-personal skills in addition to strong technical skills.  

This position assists our cloud architects and project managers in implementing solutions using best practices-based methodology for delivering our proven, high-quality repeatable cloud-service project results to customers.

In addition to the normal business hour (M-F) schedule, this position will also assist the Agile IT team leads on remote migrations of workstation PCs for customers after hours and weekends which may require working from home; therefore, must have reliable internet service. Migrations consist of Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure. You are required to log your time daily and use a project tracking system.

Agile IT works on the latest technologies (primarily Microsoft) and is a leader in deploying them in the market. Based on this, we understand that there might not be many applicants that have certain experiences. Those we hire will be trained and mentored in these technologies as appropriate by our senior staff and will work to support a growing base of customers.

Certifications is a great way to show your knowledge and strengthen your career path. If you have not previously attained an Office 365 Certification, this will be a key objective your first 60 days using self-study and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following technical skills:

  • Office 365
  • Active Directory Services
  • Basic Networking
  • Domain Name Service (DNS)
  • Microsoft Exchange or Enterprise Email Administration
  • Microsoft Office 2013 Configuration and Features


Preferable Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong working experience and knowledge of Windows and Mac systems
  • Demonstrate ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Strong trouble-shooting skills across a broad and diverse population and environment

Enter Project Billable Task Duration and Billable Ticket Time Entries

Manage Customer Communications and Tasks through a Ticket Management System (Autotask)

Provide Customer and Project Reports - Attend and Present at Project Weekly Reviews to Internal team Lead Cloud/Office 365 Migration Project - Engage with the project and customer at kickoff. Manage deliverables, process, and education to deliver the best project results securing excellent customer satisfaction

SharePoint/OneDrive Migration - Install, configure, implement, train customer administrator Configure VoIP Call Conferencing - Configure Conference Dial-in for Microsoft Skype for Business

Salary Range $55k to $75k (DOE) + Benefits
