Job Description

As a community manager, your role is to create and execute community strategy that can accommodate Aldin’s growing user community and scale long term. You will build a strong relationship with our community, engaging in dialogue on Aldin’s community-channels, responding to support queries and closely work with the development team and communicate wishes and issues from our community. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining, presenting and documenting your work as well as conducting research into various aspects of the VR market, competition and more.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute community strategy for Aldin’s social media and community-channels.

  • Proactively devise and create community activities and dialogue to keep our community engaged and well informed.

  • Communicate with users, Aldin partners and respond to support queries on a daily basis.

  • Document and keep track of various community, marketing and company operations KPIs.

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the latest community wishes and issues are addressed in production.

  • Create and manage a community strategy that can scale in the long term and accommodate a growing user community.

  • Continuously learn and adopt radically new concepts relating to Aldin’s products, design principles and technologies.

Requirements

  • Excellent English writing and verbal skills.

  • Strong social and communication skills with emphasis on the ability to share information in an effective and enthusiastic manner.

  • Proficiency in online research, information collection and presentation.

  • Experience using PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

  • Understanding of KPI measurements and metrics associated with community management, marketing and social media.

  • Passion for VR software innovation and the future of computing.

Additional Information

Desired skills

  • Several years of industry experience, preferably in gaming, communications, media or marketing.

  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms and tools, including creating media content and launching advertising campaigns.

  • Experience in analysing markets, preferably the VR market and competition.

  • Published work (papers, articles, etc.)

  • Knowledge of fantasy fiction and lore.
