As a QA developer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Aldin’s products are as bug free and polished as computationally possible. You will continuously learn and work with the core Aldin team to create new QA approaches to VR specific factors such as making sure features are compatible with users with different heights, fatigue levels and more. Your work will focus on profiling, optimizing and resolving general software issues, as well as monitoring performance of Aldin’s products and oversee issue tracking.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest excellence in QA and UX in Aldin’s software.

• Adopt and create new approaches to QA for broad ranging VR factors.

• Debug and resolve software issues as well as work on improvements & polish.

• Work closely with team members to assess implementation timelines and development practises.

• Proactively monitor performance of Aldin’s products and oversee issue tracking.

• Develop, test and document code, as well as profiling and optimising existing codebase.

Requirements

• Passionate about learning and creating new approaches to QA specific to VR.

• Proven experience with Unity and proficiency in C# or similar languages.

• Ability to deliver highly polished, efficient and well documented work.

• Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

• Ability to take creative input and to turn feedback into improvements.

• Motivated self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and estimate timescales.

• Willingness to gain a deep understanding of Aldin’s software, product philosophy and design principles.

• Passion for VR software innovation and the future of computing.

Desired skills

• Extensive experience in QA such as issue tracking and bug hunting.

• Several years of industry experience, preferably in gaming or general software QA.

• A working knowledge of game development, having shipped 1 or more titles.

• Knowledge of fantasy fiction and lore.
