Job Description

SUMMARY  This position will be responsible for driving the adoption and utilization of Invisalign with General Dentists and Orthodontists. This includes driving new product commercialization, marketing programs, product and clinical messaging, and managing overall business results with an end-to-end view.  Additionally, develops tools and programs for channel sales force. She/he will work very closely with and must be very effective in collaborating with product management, Consumer  Marketing, Sales, R&D,  Clinical, Legal, Regulatory and outside agencies. She/he must also be able to lead cross functional teams and agencies in ambiguous situations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Understand customer mindset, drivers and barriers to adoption and be able to effectively incorporate insights into the development of programs and communications.
  • Lead cross functional teams and partner closely with internal and external partners
  • Create compelling messaging, positioning, claims, creative briefs, sales collateral and education.   
  • Develop comprehensive plans to gather data and proof points to support reasons to believe.
  • Develop and drive successful commercialization of next gen innovations
  • Conceive and execute marketing programs to drive doctor utilization
  • Measure incremental impact of marketing programs including ROI.  Track overall business results including identification and monitoring of key metrics.
  • Use promotions as a lever to drive trial and engagement
  • Provide input to Product Management on next generation innovation
  • Interface with clinical research and advanced development on developing research and studies to support current and future products and claims
  • Investigate new market opportunities and propose new products within those markets.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, MBA strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing including new product commercialization, messaging, promotions, and programs.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience in working with sales force is a plus.
  • Experience with medical device, pharmaceutical, or technology professional channels is a plus.

 

WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS

Requires up to 30% of time domestic travel
