Job Description

SUMMARY
The Senior Marketing Manager will define and drive our value proposition and marketing strategy for the Corporate Accounts / Special Markets channel to optimize the Invisalign brand and support long-term volume growth.  The candidate will collaborate with customer management teams and with key cross-functional Align stakeholders (most closely Sales and Professional Relations) to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns for targeted group accounts.  Working closely with the Professional Relations team, the candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class educational programs that meet the specific needs of group accounts partners and drives skill set consistency across their constituents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead all marketing and clinical education activities related to group accounts; responsible for the creation and implementation of programs designed to drive revenue and share delivery
    • Success will be measured by case volume growth via doctor acquisition and utilization, and performance against forecast.  Ensures fit to holistic demand creation strategy within the GP and Orthodontic channels
  • Create and manage relationships with marketing/communications and clinical education counterparts within customer organizations to understand their organizational needs. 
  • Conduct business review meetings to routinely monitor progress of group accounts organization against goals, flags over/under achievement and craft recommendations both internally at Align and with group account management.  
    • Develop and execute a communication plan to keep all interested parties and Senior Management informed of the results of business review meetings as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Align colleagues and manage communication, education, and coordination internally in order to leverage existing resources to support marketing specific programs
  • Create and present materials to group account management and secure the participation of other subject matter experts as applicable.
  • Represents group account perspective and needs while supporting market research initiatives
  • Develop and deliver high quality professional education training programs and materials for group accounts customer base (General Dentists, Orthodontists and Staff), supportive of strategic education goals and objectives.
  • Liaise with product and clinical experts to ensure accuracy in the development of professional educational training programs
  • Assess course delivery vehicles to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of current educational programs
  • Implement and manage evaluation tools, tracking/reporting metrics to assess effectiveness of educational programs and to provide recommended changes/additions to course offerings/delivery vehicles
    • Lead the design and development of learning initiatives, from single sessions to more complex, multi-part programming, including e-learning tools, using sound instructional design strategies.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree with healthcare industry experience required.  Dental industry experience strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing, clinical education, and/or sales training preferred.  Sales experience desirable
  • Familiarity with National Accounts, dental services organizations (DSO), group purchasing organizations (GPO), or integrated delivery networks (IDN) ideal
  • Self-starter with strong process orientation and project management skills to handle multiple projects and manage timelines. 
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing scalable marketing and training programs and processes to drive desired objectives and business solutions
  • Must have the ability to build strong internal and external relationships and foster an environment around teamwork and collaboration in a matrixed organization.  Exceptional interpersonal skills to work collectively across departmental boundaries to jointly achieves company objectives.
