Job Description

This new position has been created in order to add focus to the critical drivers of our global growth:  new product/platform development, clinical evolution, patient/customer insights and world-class demand generation. 

 

Reporting to the CMO, this role’s primary responsibility includes: 

  • Accountability, with R&D, for the global pipeline
  • Development, with CMO and CEO, of the global Strategic Plan
  • Creation, with Regional Marketing, of a global Learning Plan
  • Accountable, with Regional Marketing, for worldwide campaign effectiveness
  • Partner, with Regional Marketing, on Annual Operating Plans
  • Core Member of the Global Marketing Leadership Council
  • Key Metrics:  Pipeline NPV and NPD Launch versus business case, global sales, margin, profit and share, Marketing ROI and Brand Equity

Qualifications

Given the importance of this role, it is critical that the candidate have the following profile:

 

  • 10 – 15 years of marketing experience in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Success in marketing directly to professionals (doctors, dentists, pharmacists, etc.) and to consumers.
  • A global profile with experience both as an expatriate as well as in global franchise roles.
  • Experience managing pipeline development at the brand and franchise/multi-brand levels.
  • A successful people manager who has managed multiple direct reports.
  • Comfort driving change with both formal and informal authority.
  • A track record of being both a strong team leader, as well as being a strong team member.
  • MBA, related degree, or equivalent experience required.
