Job Description

SUMMARY

 

This is a great opportunity for a HR professional who is looking to build their HR career in a successful and growing company. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for HR generalist duties associated with the full employee lifecycle in the areas of talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations and compensation. This position will report to the Director, Human Resources who supports the North America Sales organization and will also support other HR Business Partners within North America.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support talent management processes including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, development planning and termination processes.
  • Partner with employees and managers regarding organizational effectiveness and HR issues.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and managers on coaching, counseling and disciplinary/performance actions.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and managers to identify learning opportunities to facilitate effective management development and continuous improvement of individual contributors
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and managers to analyze employee engagement data, communicate results and recommend actions to further engage employees
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to resolve issues as applicable.
  • Assist HR Business Partners and management on the following:
    • Training and Development
      • Needs for the business in order to close gaps via training, development or business opportunities.

Evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs and follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.

  • Organizational Development/Change Management
    • Support change management strategy and approach as developed and implemented by HR Business Partners and managers/leaders
    • Liaison at employee and management levels across business units to analyze and effectively deliver and embed change management solutions in line with business objectives.
    • Identify potential employee risks and anticipated points of resistance, and partner with teams to develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
    • Participate in and/or lead miscellaneous projects and programs as needed.
  • Represent the Human Resources function with cross-functional teams on company-wide initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2-3 years of HR generalist experience in a fast paced, professional environment
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience; MBA and/or PHR certification desired

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Solid experience in employee life cycle management from orientation to termination
  • Strong problem-solving and excellent interpersonal and verbal/communication written communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Exposure to compensation programs such as merit, bonus, and stock programs
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Ability to multitask effectively; highly organized and have strong problem solving skills
  • Results driven, self- starter with high attention to detail and sense of urgency. Must also be highly customer-oriented.
