Job Description

Your Role as a Interactive Project Manager:

We are searching for an experienced Project Manager that acts as the “go to” person connecting our service offerings: Strategy, Content, and Experience & Technology.  The project manager is responsible for managing priorities, resources, timelines, and project status reports.

This position will be integrated in the end-to-end process including planning, estimating and has a vested interest in the successful completion of the project.  Goals include the successful delivery of the project and solid documentation throughout.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communications Management

Fosters clear communication between departments  in-person meetings, and reporting.  Responsible for information distribution for project reporting and documentation, keeping management and others informed of project status and related issues.

Risk Management

Responsible for risk identification, risk quantification, risk response development, and risk response control.

Scope Management

Ensure that all projects include  all of the work required, and only the work required, to complete the project successfully. Responsible for scope planning, scope definition, scope verification, and scope change control.

Cost Management

The project manager is responsible for monitoring cost versus project progress to assure the project is completed within budget or to identify problems that may prevent satisfactory completion within budget.

Quality Management

Responsible for quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control for all projects. Partners with other departments to develop quality assurance test plans and directs quality assurance testing.

Project Time Management

Tracks estimated time vs actual time on a weekly basis to show whether a project is on time and within budget. Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Consults with management and reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.

Resource Planning

Monitors the overall workflow of the agency, the amount of work forthcoming and availability of resources to keep projects moving forward. Source and management of internal and external resources as needed. Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel including assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience (5+ years)

  • Proven ability to communicate fluently in both conceptual and technical realms

  • Experience with a large scale design or redesign of site

  • Experience in cross-platform design, information architecture, site mapping and change control

  • Proven ability to manage risk, scope, time, quality and cost

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to implement solutions

  • Strong knowledge of web/interactive processes

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Experience with SEO is a plus
