• Being a part of Machine Learning Research team, you will be responsible for finding solutions to research problems that we encounter at Allegro with focus on providing the best search experience using state-of-the-art Learning to Rank methods

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have a master's or PhD in machine learning, mathematics, computer science, statistics or related fields
• Know Python, have at least basic knowledge of ML frameworks (PyTorch, Pandas, SciKit-Learn, PySpark, LightGBM), and have experience in shipping and maintaining ML models in production
• Developed ML models with real data that deviate from the standard, well-developed datasets used in research. Bonus points for prior experience in working with performance marketing  or customer value management
• Have a good knowledge of deep learning as well as fundamental machine learning techniques, neural networks in particular, especially in domains ranking and recommendation systems
• Know the methodology of conducting scientific research and the use of iterative process of conducting experiments
• Have experience with training machine learning models in a distributed cloud environment will be an advantage (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes)
