We are looking for candidates who:

• Write clean, robust, and production-grade code in Python and showcase proficiency in ML frameworks, particularly PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, and Transformers
• Experience with standard machine translation frameworks (e.g. OpenNMT, Marian) is welcome
• Exhibit a track record of shipping and maintaining ML models in production environments
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of machine learning techniques, with a focus on those applied in neural machine translation
• Have a proven track record of developing ML models using real-world data that diverge from conventional, well-established datasets used in research. Bonus points for prior experience in working on machine translation models in real-world scenarios
• Possess a solid understanding of scientific research methodologies. Are proficient in the iterative process of conducting experiments, including hypothesis formulation, experimental design, data collection, analysis, and result interpretation
