A strategic partner of Alliance Training & Testing LLC is currently recruiting for a Facility Technician & Maintenance Helper in Nashville, TN.


JOB SUMMARY:

Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times. This position assists and/or provides general maintenance repairs in a multi-building office complex.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Guarantees all services provided are high quality services at all times

Operates in a climate of confidentiality requiring professionalism and discretion

Perform all tasks in a safe manner at all times

Operate a variety of telephone and office equipment, observing proper procedures to handle records or other materials

Verifies that safety standards are met within the work environment

Adheres to the established safety practices, personal protective equipment and environmental issues

Respond to hot and cold calls, adjust HVAC computer, thermostats and dampers for proper temperature and air flow

Ability to perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs such as replacement of lights

Ability to perform plumbing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs such as replace flush valves and clear drains

Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on general building components, such as walls, ceilings and floors

Become familiar with the various building systems and verify / troubleshoot status of alarm systems

Be experienced in using hand and power tools

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to interact effectively with all clients and customers

Demonstrates ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment

Adheres to company and client safety standards and generally accepted industry standards

Capable of handling multi-tasks and deadlines

Logical and technical thinking for problem solving

Computer skills with MS Word, Excel and E-mail

Good verbal and written communication skills

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to operate a two way radio

Willingness to work at various locations and perform other duties as assigned

Must clear pre-employment drug screen, background check and fit-for-duty assessment

WORK SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

Monday – Friday 11:00am-5:00pm 30 Hours Per Week

$13.00 Hourly
