Alpadia Language Schools from Kaplan International Languages, offers all-year round schools in Montreux, Berlin, Freiburg and Lyon, teaching French and German. Alpadia also provides English, French and German summer courses for juniors and teens in Europe and North America. Initially established in 1996, and now larger than ever, our mission is to encourage language development through immersion and to expand the horizons of our students, to inspire their future.

Job Description

·       Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of students, implementing our Safeguarding and Health and Safety policies working closely with the Camp Manager.

·       Liaise with internal (as for example Alpadia’s Customer Services and Sales teams) and external stakeholders (as for example accommodation partners) concerning matters of student welfare; responding and resolving any questions, comments or concerns.

·       Manage the allocation of students in accommodation, responding to requests and complaints from internal and external stakeholders.

·       Additional administrative tasks and activities as given by the Camp Manager such as marketing uploads, catering calculations, completing daily reports, etc.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a summer school or similar environment preferred
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

Miscellaneous: 

  • This is a residential position with accommodation provided on site
  • All staff employed will be required to provide / undergo an Enhanced DBS check (and provide overseas conduct certificates where applicable)
