OVERVIEW OF THE JOB

This is a full-time role based in Taiwan/Thailand/Korea. The position reports to the Alpadia/Kaplan Regional Managers and is responsible for the growth and development of Asia-based partners primarily focusing on German pathways programs, French and German schools, Summer camps covering the key Asian countries.

As a Sales Manager, you will have a key role in building and developing strong relationships with our agents. Through regular contact and follow up, you will ensure that our agents have all the materials, information and have completed all the administration required to promote and sell Alpadia and Kaplan products. You will also be responsible for developing new business through market research and seeking out new opportunities and contacts.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

Key Responsibilities:

  • being the primary contact and building and expanding strong relationships for Asia-based agents, and ensuring all agents are fully trained on the Alpadia and Kaplan products
  • managing day-to-day agents’ enquiries and providing support and guidance throughout the application process
  • reviewing incentives and devising ways of supporting agents to increase Alpadia and Kaplan business
  • participating annually in student recruitment fairs and visiting partner agents in the region
  • generating proactive and innovative ideas to drive growth and market share
  • reporting regularly on sales progress and regional activities
  • building knowledge of study abroad business and staying up to date with competitors and changes within the marketplace
  • other duties, projects or responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

About you:

To be considered for the role, you will need:

  • fluency in English
  • German language skills would also be desirable
  • experience of working to and meeting targets
  • goal-driven and results oriented profile
  • ability to build trust and rapport quickly
  • ability to communicate well with range of audiences
  • strong organisation and planning skills
  • minimum three years’ experience in international education sales (desirable)
