Job Description

  • Develop and organize  a Quality Assurance Document Control database
  • Design and modify Quality Assurance Document Control database templates
  • Collect Quality Assurance documentation from all departments ensuring timely and accurate information  entered in the database
  • Maintain database to ensure all documentation  and certifications are current and compliant
  • Prepare correspondence and reports related to Quality Assurance activities using word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software for distribution
  • Create drawings regarding Best Practices, Standard Build Process and client specifics
  • Verify all PDD drawings regarding Change Orders and Non-Conformance Report rework
  • Provides support to the QA Team in the design and preparation of Quality Assurance presentations
  • Provides support to the QA Team with typing and distributing minutes, preparing agenda packages, arranging meeting dates/times/rooms, contacting participants, and attends meetings, as required to record minutes
  • The ability to handle confidential information with integrity and adherence to confidentiality policy and procedure
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A strong commitment to safety and a safety leader
  • Read blueprints, specifications, schematics and technical drawing
  • Knowledgeable in documentation control, review and approval process
  • Experienced with AutoCAD, databases and electronic file management systems  
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office and email application
  • Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to details with strong organization skills to  effectively manage time to meet required deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, adaptability, and customer service orientation as well as good communication abilities required to work with internal and external customers on different levels
  • Results-orientated with ability to work as a team member as well as independently
  • Position requires strong English communication skills, including written, spoken and comprehension
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Additional Information

Year round full time employment. Must have vehicle to commute to Nisku.  Application process required pre-employment drug, alcohol and physical testing.
