Altisource’s Software and Technology segment is responsible for incubating and launching market disruptive solutions that apply our core technologies and intellectual property including business process optimization platforms, advanced decision models, consumer sciences and business intelligence systems into market-leading software applications and services.

Responsibilities:

·         Develop end to end scalable data solutions using Kafka (Kafka KSQL, Kafka Connect) and Elastic Search

·         Design and implement efficient elastic search indexes

·         Coordinate Database Operations (MySQL, Kafka, ElasticSearch) including deploying clusters, performing post-deployment logistics (restart/backup), and monitoring the health of clusters

·         Establish, communicate, and advocate best practices and design patters related to Kafka consumption

·          

Key Result Areas:

·         This individual works closely with other application developers, QA personnel and project managers in creating functional and scalable applications from development through implementation for business clients.

·         Writes code that is easily maintainable, highly reliable and demonstrates knowledge of common programming best practices

Qualifications & Experience:

·         5+ years software development experience

·         Seasoned developer with experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kafka Streaming, Elastic Search

·         1+ years’ experience working in an AWS Cloud with Containers environment (Docker preferred)

·         Experience with system integrations and can explore APIs, documentation, system logs, etc. to come up with solutions

·         Problem solver with a logical mindset and meticulous attention to detail

·         MySQL or other relational db experience

·         Collaborative nature, keen to share knowledge and continually learn
