Job Description

The Health Care Data Analyst will work with Forum researchers and policy analysts in a variety of tasks including: performing statistical analysis and developing coding; collecting and preparing data from surveys and administrative information systems; conducting literature searches; and providing project management support. A successful candidate will be a team player, who is detail oriented, comfortable finding and manipulating complex data sets, and demonstrates initiative and creativity.

This position will report to the Director of Health Care Policy.

Qualifications

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree in economics, public policy, finance or math; statistics coursework required.
  • Must have one to two years of relevant experience with statistics and programming with statistical packages (such as SAS or STATA), as well as analytical, qualitative, and quantitative research.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. health care system and health care policy.
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities with little notice.

Salary commensurate with experience.
