Boni Miller Recycling is looking for a reliable, professional, and motivated Class 1 FM Driver to join our transportation team in Montréal-Nord. If you enjoy local driving, teamwork, and a stable job with great working conditions, this position is for you!

We are a family-owned business that has been in operation since the early 1980s. Since then, we have grown to become a major processor and vendor of scrap metals in the Montréal Area.

• Competitive wage: $28/hour, with overtime paid at time and a half
• Stable schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (40 hours/week guaranteed, whether you're on the road or in the yard)

What you're responsible for:

• Safely operating a 12-wheel Roll-Off truck, a tractor with Roll-Off trailer, or a cube van to transport recyclable materials
• Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Safely loading and unloading bins
• Keeping the truck clean and in good condition
• Following all traffic laws and company policies
• Maintaining accurate logs and records
• Taking part in yard duties, which make up approximately 50% of the role, including:
  • Operating a loader or forklift once comfortable (training provided if needed)
  • Assisting the mechanic occasionally (light manual help only, no mechanical work)
• Collaborating with the team and providing excellent customer service

To join our team:

• You have a valid Class 1 FM driver’s license with a clean driving record
• You have 12 to 24 months of experience as a Class 1 FM driver
• You are experienced with manual transmission
• You speak French fluently (essential for team communication)
• You are customer-focused and enjoy working as part of a team
• You are in good physical condition and able to assist with loading/unloading when needed
• You have knowledge of metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)
• You have experience with dump trucks / Roll-Offs (an asset)
• You are punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
