Job Description

We are looking for an experienced digital marketer to provide tactical execution of our marketing strategies from the ground floor up for our leading-edge research company.


You are:

• A digital marketing ninja with at least five years of B2B experience.

• Resourceful and intellectually curious, with a reputation for jumping in and learning new things and finding answers.

• Known for managing and executing projects with effortless precision.

• Technically savvy and not intimidated by new applications or platforms, especially if they can improve your effectiveness or efficiency.

• Articulate and comfortable communicating with industry thought leaders.

• Adept at orchestrating trade show appearances, including preparing all materials, coordinating logistics onsite, and serving as a spokesperson for your company.

• An excellent writer who conveys ideas succinctly and persuasively, and perhaps has knowledge of AP standards for editing.

• Passionate about improving healthcare, and have an innate interest in science, technical problems, and their solutions.

• Entrepreneurial in spirit, and willing to face any task—whether as lowbrow as emptying the recycling to brainstorming with our management team—with a good-natured attitude.


Fast-forward one year from today:  

• The marketing plan you have designed and implemented has directly contributed to our bottom line, and you have consistently generated a minimum of ten qualified leads per month.

• You have doubled our email list.

• The dashboard you have built has carefully tracked the performance of our marketing activities, and has helped you test and share them with the rest of the team in real time.

• You have leveraged our content, including white papers and blogs you have syndicated, increasing our exposure and deepening our reputation for providing industry expertise.

• Your flawless preparation and execution of our presence at trade shows has raised awareness of our company, establishing and strengthening relationships within the industry.

• You have capitalized on our existing marketing tools and our social media presence, as well as our external resources for graphic design, user experience testing and PR, to connect in a valuable way with our potential and existing clients.

• Your tactically astute marketing efforts, combined with your engaging personality, have helped us reach—and earn credibility with—a difficult-to-reach, commercially-averse client.

• We have re-invested in the marketing tactics you have deemed successful through your measurable analysis, and are investing in new tools to make your marketing efforts more efficient.

• You are confident delivering leads, knowing that our response rates are high, and others on our team will retain and grow your leads, thereby successfully closing the circle on your efforts.

Qualifications

• At least five years of digital marketing and B2B experience, with an emphasis on performance-based marketing.

• Experience with Google Analytics and AdWords, and sales and marketing software such as HubSpot, Wordpress, Mailchimp, and HighRise.

• Familiarity with SEM, as well as using tracking/engagement software like Intercom.io and Mixpanel.

• A Bachelor’s Degree, and maybe a life science or other technical background.
